    This tax preparer has cost me $7000.00 in damages by failing to file (or inform me of) something called insolvency. When I pressed her to ammend the return she refused and now she will not return my tax documents to me. When I pressed her for my documents under circular 230 she simply emailed me stating that she has fulfilled her obligation and will not tolerate further harassment. I have legal plans to solve this problem. I hope she has insurance, for her sake.
